P1 In this section, I will be talking about each development of life stages and link them to a celebrity Michelle Obama. I will also predict some life stages such as later adulthood and describe what are P.I.E.S. P.I.E.S There are five developments through life stages; physical, intellectual, Emotional and social. Physical development is when we begin to fit into our own age, this means we either grow from a young age or get old. This includes physical body change and developing our skills such as walking or driving a car. Intellectual development is when our speech is developing including our skills, for example, when if an infant knows their colours and alphabet. Emotional development is our emotions, for example, a female of age 15-16 tend to become more 'emotional' or in other words 'moody' because their hormones produce another hormone called estrogen which causes a female body to mature.
